LQA Games Tester, English to Thai

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Thailand.

📋 Description

• Conduct manual testing of localized video game content across various gaming platforms.

• Detect, document, isolate, and resolve localization and linguistic issues.

• Validate fixes utilizing testing tools or databases.

• Complete and adhere to test cases and checklists.

• Implement relevant testing processes and procedures.

• Draft bug descriptions in accordance with company standards and client requirements.

• Incorporate target-market user preferences to enhance the client’s product.

• Actively identify gaps in testing coverage.

• Collaborate with partner teams throughout the product testing phase.

• Offer constructive insights on gameplay, enjoyment factor, and game balance.

• Perform other relevant tasks as assigned.

• Avid gamer with a strong enthusiasm for the video game industry.

• Native proficiency in Thai, with exceptional spelling and grammar skills.

• Proficient in English for understanding instructions, testing documentation, and team communications.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Positive attitude and a robust work ethic.

• Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities.

• Capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.

• Basic understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Familiarity with digital technologies, including mobile devices, tablets, and browser tools.

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Capacity to excel and deliver results in a fast-paced, innovative, and creative setting.

• Curriculum Vitae must be submitted in English.

• Availability to work during core business hours in Singapore, Monday to Friday, for 8 hours each day.

• Must be over 18 years of age or of legal working age.

• Prior game testing experience is a plus.

• Experience in software localization, quality assurance, or similar roles within the video game industry is advantageous.

• Familiarity with testing methodologies is a bonus.

• Experience in game localization is an advantage.

• Knowledge of bug tracking systems such as JIRA, Mantis, ADO, or Bugzilla is beneficial.

• Familiarity with CAT tools like SDL Trados or MemoQ is a plus.
