LQA Games Tester, English to Thai

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Thailand.

📋 Description

• Conduct manual testing of localized video game content across different gaming platforms.

• Detect, document, and resolve localization and linguistic issues.

• Validate corrections using testing tools or databases.

• Adhere to test cases and checklists while executing the relevant testing procedures.

• Craft bug reports in accordance with company standards and client requirements.

• Incorporate target-market user preferences to enhance the client’s product.

• Actively identify gaps in testing coverage.

• Collaborate with partner teams throughout the product testing phase.

• Offer constructive insights on gameplay, enjoyment, and game balance.

• Conduct regression testing and implement text modifications.

• Undertake other relevant responsibilities as required for the role.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native proficiency in Thai (the testing language), with excellent spelling and grammar skills.

• Proficient in English for understanding instructions, testing documentation, and team communication.

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• A strong passion for video games and consistent gaming experience.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities.

• Capability to multitask and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.

• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Understanding of digital technologies, including mobile devices, tablets, and web tools.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.

• Capacity to excel in a dynamic, innovative, and creative environment.

• Availability to work during core business hours in Singapore, Monday to Friday, for 8 hours each day.

• Curriculum Vitae must be submitted in English.

• Experience in game testing, software localization, quality assurance, testing methodologies, game localization, bug-tracking systems, or CAT tools is a plus.
