Low-Code Application Developer – Mendix, Snowflake, Power BI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the current MS Access application, including tables, forms, queries, reports, and VBA code.

• Create and develop Mendix applications using both low-code and pro-code approaches.

• Transform VBA logic into Mendix microflows, nanoflows, and custom Java actions.

• Ensure adherence to scalability, security, and performance best practices.

• Construct and refine SQL queries for Snowflake.

• Design data models that align with the existing Snowflake schemas.

• Guarantee data integrity, performance, and controlled access.

• Create and sustain Power BI dashboards linked to Snowflake and/or Mendix.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to update legacy reports into contemporary interactive dashboards.

• Assist with enhancements and change requests related to analytics models.

• Work alongside architects, business users, and analysts to gather requirements.

• Provide support for UAT, issue resolution, and post-go-live enhancements.

• Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and migration notes.

• Adhere to enterprise security, architecture, and SDLC standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science.

• At least 2 years of practical application development experience.

• Significant experience with the Mendix low-code platform.

• Pro-code experience utilizing Java within Mendix.

• Strong SQL proficiency with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.

• Solid background with Microsoft Access, including tables, queries, forms, and reports.

• Extensive VBA development and refactoring skills.

• Experience in designing and developing Power BI dashboards.

• Understanding of REST APIs, integrations, and authentication mechanisms.

• Experience in migrating legacy systems to low-code platforms (Preferred).

• Familiarity with enterprise ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, etc. (Preferred).

• Experience in regulated industries, including medical devices, life sciences, or healthcare (Preferred).

• Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, and DevOps practices specific to Mendix (Preferred).
