Loss Mitigation Underwriting Quality Control Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate decisions and final modification calculations completed by Underwriters

• Verify files for thoroughness and precision

• Ensure files are organized and stored in compliance with company policies and procedures

• Confirm the accurate completion of Fiserv tasks

• Monitor errors and issues to identify patterns and training needs

• Deliver error reports to management to evaluate potential process improvements

• Provide training for incoming new employees

• Act as a leader among peers and support the supervisor and manager with special projects

• Execute responsibilities in alignment with company policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory

• A minimum of four (4) years of loss mitigation experience in Underwriting, QC, HRD, or Auditing is essential

• Familiarity with company policies and procedures as well as relevant state and federal regulations

• Experience in reviewing approvals, denials, income calculations, and final conversion calculations

• Proficiency in Fiserv task completion and documentation assessment
