Longshore IME & Peer Review Physicians, Independent Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct impartial and defensible Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) for Longshore cases.

• Execute thorough peer reviews of medical records.

• Deliver detailed and prompt written reports.

• Ensure adherence to LHWCA standards and documentation requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active, unrestricted medical license (preferably in TX, LA, or CA; licenses from additional states are also accepted).

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedics, Neurology, Psychiatry, or a related specialty.

• Previous experience with Longshore IMEs and/or Peer Reviews is highly preferred.

• Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in report writing.

• Capability to independently manage case timelines.
