Long Term Care Account Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accountable for a designated geographic area and the effective promotion and expansion of Neurocrine products.

• Cultivates and nurtures long-term relationships with physicians and other clients for targeted accounts within their territory, representing Neurocrine brand(s) and their authorized indications.

• Facilitates product acceptance and growth through focused education and strategic management of accounts.

• Implements territory sales strategies aimed at achieving or surpassing objectives through both in-person and virtual communications.

• Recognizes and addresses opportunities and obstacles specific to the territory that impact product success.

• Establishes and sustains relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, clinical personnel, key opinion leaders, advocacy groups, community mental health clinics, long-term care facilities, local/regional payers, and pharmacies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A BS/BA degree in science or a related field AND a minimum of 4 years of relevant commercial pharma/biotech experience, with at least 3 years of experience in specialty pharmaceutical or LTC, Psychology, or Neurology sales highly preferred.

• Experience with close-door or specialty pharmacy distribution is highly desirable.

• Background in psychiatry, neurology, or antipsychotic fields is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with business systems, salesforce automation tools, and other business intelligence applications (e.g., Salesforce.com, Oracle database, SAP, Business Objects, COGNOS, QlikView, Veeva, etc.) OR a Master's degree in science or a related field AND 2+ years of equivalent experience as mentioned above.
