Logistics Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Deliver logistics support encompassing order entry, routing and dispatching, as well as traffic coordination.

• Maintain customer profile data and input loads from customer tenders.

• Keep account managers informed about problematic loads and the actions taken, while also updating receivers and customers on load statuses.

• Oversee daily pickups and deliveries; ensure that loads arrive punctually and in good condition.

• Conduct check calls with drivers to confirm timely deliveries; verify all load information before marking loads as delivered for accounting purposes.

• Investigate discrepancies such as product overages, shortages, and damages, and complete necessary documentation.

• Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments for all loads; accept or decline loads based on guidance from account managers.

• Provide thorough directions and instructions to effectively route drivers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in logistics.

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• General understanding of the transportation industry.

• Experience in drafting routine reports and correspondence.

• Ability to apply common sense reasoning to execute instructions provided in written, verbal, or diagrammatic form.
