Logistics Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Solicit and evaluate ocean and air freight quotes based on pricing, transit durations, routing alternatives, and service quality.

• Arrange bookings with carriers, freight forwarders, warehouses, suppliers, and clients.

• Oversee shipment tracking and monitor key milestones from origin to destination.

• Organize container loading schedules, pickups, and logistics for transportation.

• Review and validate Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, shipping instructions, and release documentation.

• Prepare, assess, and manage export documentation, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, Health Certificates, Certificates of Free Sale, and other necessary documents.

• Ensure all shipping documents are accurate, complete, and adhere to international trade standards.

• Provide shipment updates and proactively resolve delays, discrepancies, or operational challenges.

• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to guarantee seamless shipment execution.

• Keep organized records of shipments, documentation, and freight-related communications.

• Assist in the ongoing enhancement of logistics processes and operational efficiency.

• Handle multiple shipments at once while meeting deadlines and maintaining meticulous attention to detail.

• Experience in coordinating international ocean and air freight shipments.

• Understanding of import/export processes and logistics operations.

• Familiarity with export documentation and shipping compliance standards.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across various departments and external partners.

• Capability to manage multiple shipments concurrently while adhering to deadlines.

• High degree of attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and follow-up skills.
