Local Class 1 Delivery Driver

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Delivering outstanding service to establish and nurture high-quality customer relationships.

• Manually sorting and unloading food products, transporting them to customer locations using ramps and, occasionally, stairs (approximately 600 - 1000 cases per shift).

• Safely and professionally operating straight trucks or trailers to transport goods and materials across urban, short inter-urban, and rural routes.

• Performing routine pre/post-trip inspections on trucks and maintaining precise records of delivery routes, temperature logs, count sheets, and incident reports.

• Verifying product delivery at customer locations and managing customer invoices.

• Adhering to health and safety regulations and safe work practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid Class 1/AZ driver’s license with a clean commercial driver’s abstract.

• Physically capable of repeatedly lifting, stacking, pulling, and carrying heavy items (up to 80 lbs).

• Strong communication and customer service abilities, with fluency in English.

• Previous experience in professional driving is preferred.

• Capability to work in diverse weather, temperature, and road conditions.

• Proficient in effective verbal and written communication.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team setting.

• Must possess a goal-oriented mindset and a positive, “can do” attitude.

• This role necessitates punctuality and meticulous attention to detail.
