This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +6 more states.
• Assist Loan Originators by organizing sales pipelines according to application statuses.
• Aid Loan Originators in tasks related to the completion of the mortgage loan application (1003 Application).
• Generate initial disclosures for review by Loan Originators, adhering to the TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure Rule (TRID) procedures and timelines.
• Collect necessary documentation from borrowers as directed by Loan Originators and the loan system.
• Manage status updates and follow-up communications with mortgage service providers, including appraisers and title companies.
• Collaborate with wholesale lending underwriters to obtain conditional approvals and clearance for closing.
• Validate the Final Closing Disclosure (Final CD) information and rectify any missing or inconsistent data prior to closing the loan file in our system.
• Execute a Closing Checklist to ensure that all regulated and reportable information is duly recorded in a loan file before its closure in our system.
• Engage in process improvement initiatives.
• Deliver prompt, friendly, and memorable customer service.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage loan processing or other forms of loan processing.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Wholesale and TPO experience is not mandatory but is considered a plus!
