This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Assess all information provided on the mortgage loan application.
• Confirm the accuracy of the information.
• Compile thoroughly documented files for Underwriting and Closing.
• Serve as the main point of contact between the loan officer, loan officer assistant, realtors, builders, and the customer(s).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of mortgage banking experience as a processor or junior processor is required.
• Must possess a working knowledge of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac and FHA/VA policies and guidelines, along with Regulatory Mortgage Compliance, state, federal, local government, private investors, and insurers.
• Must have a working knowledge or the capacity to learn all operating systems and the ability to facilitate training.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the capability to learn other mortgage-related software.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proven ability to interact effectively with branch, regional, and corporate personnel, as well as realtors, sales agents, builders, appraisers, title companies, etc.
• Demonstrated judgment and decision-making skills.
• Must be available to work all regularly scheduled hours, arriving at the designated reporting time and returning on schedule after any breaks or lunch periods.
• Must be willing to work overtime as necessary.
