Loan Processor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional customer service by gathering the necessary documentation for loan underwriting.

• Engage directly with customers and/or Loan Officers.

• Compile the complete loan package in the correct order for underwriting.

• Complete the mandatory loan checklist.

• Ensure the application is thorough and precise; identify any potential issues.

• Prepare a comprehensive loan approval summary and verify the accuracy of all information.

• Confirm that all required documentation is present in the file.

• Coordinate with various companies to obtain the necessary documentation.

• Oversee the pipeline by completing and submitting reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• At least 5 years of experience in residential mortgage processing.

• Proficiency in using Encompass.

• Strong understanding of RESPA regulations and general knowledge of all mortgage and consumer lending regulations.

• Familiarity with DU, LP, Microsoft Office, and Windows.

• Excellent mathematical and analytical abilities.
