This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Facilitate the completion of loan applications and coordinate the collection of documentation, including credit reports, processing DU/LP/AUS, preparing loan files for processing, and sending closing cost worksheets to borrowers.
• Act as the primary point of contact, coordinating discussions among the Loan Originator, referral partners, and clients throughout the entire loan process.
• Promote Envoy's products to Real Estate Agents, home buyers, and referral sources while consistently tracking and managing follow-ups.
• Assist Loan Processors in compiling scenarios for prospective clients by researching client situations against underwriting and investor guidelines.
• Manage a pipeline of conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans, along with 203K and reverse mortgage products.
• Request and gather necessary information and documents from borrowers to complete loan applications, structure, and all required disclosures.
• Enter loan applications into the Loan Origination System (LOS) and assign them to the appropriate Originator or LOA.
• Review all loan package paperwork for inconsistencies, omissions, and inaccurate income calculations, promptly reporting any errors to the Originator.
• Contact borrowers and Realtors to obtain conditions needed to clear any obstacles, ensuring transactions progress toward closing.
• Monitor loan progress and maintain effective communication with borrowers and all parties involved regarding status updates throughout the process.
• Research investor guidelines and remain informed on program changes that impact the processing or originating of loans in the pipeline.
• Communicate loan approvals by sending pre-approval and commitment letters to all individuals involved in the transaction.
• Coordinate closing details with clients, including final payment, rate, and cash to close figures.
• Review all closing statements and compare them to signed loan estimate worksheets prior to signings, rectifying any discrepancies.
• Review, create, and deliver disclosure and re-disclosure packages to borrowers, documenting all required receipts.
• Facilitate timely closings by working directly with the Title Company and clients to schedule and confirm all closing logistics.
• Order appraisals and third-party services, including VOE, Title, certifications, and related documents, to create complete loan packages for processing.
• Develop a comprehensive working knowledge of Envoy's products, systems, competitive advantages, processes, policies, and procedures.
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in a role such as Loan Originator Assistant, Loan Partner, Processor, Loan Officer, or Underwriter is preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's degree is a plus.
• Familiarity with Desktop Underwriter/Desktop Originator (DU/DO), Loan Prospector (LP), and originating systems; experience with Encompass is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong understanding of the residential mortgage banking process, including conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203K, and reverse mortgage products.
• Capability to analyze issues and develop effective resolutions while managing multiple loan files simultaneously.
• Exceptional follow-up, time management, and both verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and a genuine ease in working within a team environment.
• Self-motivated mentality — dependable, detail-oriented, and able to address issues independently.
• Proficient in social media and possesses a forward-thinking approach to client relationship management.
