LLM/RAG – Machine Learning Engineer Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Create AI systems that include LLMs, RAG, databases, parsers, digital avatars, and tailored Python functions.

• Conduct systematic evaluations of retrieval quality and usability, making independent optimizations.

• Leverage generative AI for vibe coding to swiftly produce high-caliber software.

• Build pipelines and models using Python, ensuring quality through a comprehensive testing strategy.

• Assist in optimizing the architecture of the pipeline.

• Engage in brief team discussions and collaborate closely with different departments.

⛳️ Requirements

• You are pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Geoinformatics, or a related discipline.

• You possess experience with Python, Cursor or VS Code, and Git.

• You have an interest in LLMs, RAG, and digital avatars.

• You approach work in a structured, independent, and solution-focused manner.

• Ideally, you have initial GitHub projects, contributions, or personal repositories.

• You are enthusiastic about taking on responsibilities and exploring new technologies.

• You have proficient skills in both German and English.

• You must be enrolled in a degree program throughout the duration of the internship.
