This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, responses to discovery, disclosures, notices, correspondence, and other litigation-related documents.
• Submitting documents electronically to Arizona state courts while ensuring adherence to court regulations.
• Keeping well-organized electronic case files and supporting documents.
• Facilitating discovery, document production, and materials related to cases.
• Tracking litigation deadlines and maintaining precise case calendars.
• Aiding in preparation for hearings and trials, which includes organizing exhibits, witness files, and trial notebooks.
• Engaging in professional communication with clients, court staff, opposing counsel, experts, and third parties.
• Conducting procedural and factual research to support ongoing cases.
• Adjusting to various attorney preferences, practice styles, and case management systems.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Arizona law firm.
• A Bachelor’s degree.
• Extensive experience in supporting Arizona civil litigation cases.
• Solid understanding of the Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure.
• Experience in managing litigation timelines, which includes disclosures, discovery, motions, and trial deadlines.
• Practical experience in preparing and filing documents in Arizona state courts.
• Strong organizational abilities to independently manage multiple active matters.
• Exceptional written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and general legal technologies.
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week at the start.
• Prompt responsiveness during standard business hours (9:00 AM–6:00 PM ET), usually within an hour.
• A Windows-based computer is preferred.
• Familiarity with legal practice management systems like Clio, MyCase, or similar platforms is a plus.
