Linux Server Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as a reliable advisor, tasked with protecting and enhancing the comprehensive service delivery for key clients.

• Engage actively in resolving critical incidents.

• Implement complex service and change requests, overseeing extended downtime periods and prolonged incidents.

• Identify and spearhead proactive measures to enhance system functionality, stability, and standardization within client environments.

• Deliver expert technical support in Linux and infrastructure.

• Streamline Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) through automation.

• Facilitate collaboration across various internal and external cloud service teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 to 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and server operations.

• Strong hands-on experience managing SUSE, Red Hat, or Ubuntu systems.

• 2 to 3 years of experience with High Availability (HA) configurations.

• Practical knowledge of at least one major public cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Advanced skills in diagnosing network issues within Linux and cloud contexts, including TCP/IP, DNS, LDAP, NAT, firewalls, and connectivity analysis.

• Experience with scripting languages (Shell, Python, Go, etc.) and server automation tools such as Ansible or CHEF.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT Management, or related disciplines.

• Proficiency in English is essential.
