Linguistic QA Tester – Lithuanian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.

📋 Description

• Reviewing and refining content that has already been localized into your native language.

• Identifying errors in the content, including grammar, typographical mistakes, syntax, punctuation, capitalization, political insensitivity, inconsistencies, and unnecessary spaces between words or characters.

• Translating materials from English into your native language.

• Evaluating user interfaces for any functional problems.

• Documenting and reporting pertinent bugs and errors by utilizing best practices through the internal database system.

• Following project-specific quality standards, trademarks, style guides, and client-preferred checklists and glossaries.

• Completing assigned tasks efficiently and within deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a recognized college or university in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Native-level or fully bilingual fluency (both spoken and written) in the required language(s).

• Proficient English skills, both written and verbal.

• Familiarity with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); ability to navigate networks and websites using different browsers.

• Basic understanding of PC hardware (desktop and laptop).

• Basic knowledge of smartphones (iPhone or Android).

• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Localization/QA/translation or with advanced computer skills.
