Linguistic QA Tester – Bulgarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Reviewing and refining content that has already been localized into your native language

• Ensuring that any errors in the content are identified and corrected

• Translating material from English into your native language

• Inspecting user interfaces for functional problems

• Writing and documenting relevant bugs and errors following best practices through the internal database system

• Ability to comprehend and prioritize tasks and issues swiftly and effectively

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and a dedication to quality

• Conducting quality assurance on various products by adhering to testing instructions and test cases accurately

• Identifying and reporting defects (bugs) using client-specific bug tracking tools

• Assessing translations within the context of software, mobile applications, and documentation

• Serving as a subject matter expert for linguistic issues in the target language; capable of researching and resolving linguistic inquiries

• Complying with project-specific quality standards, trademarks, style guides, and client-preferred checklists and glossaries

• Troubleshooting basic issues; able to communicate effectively and escalate testing problems

• Completing assigned tasks with quality and within the given timeframe

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a college or university in a relevant field, or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• Native-level or fully bilingual fluency (both spoken and written) in the required language(s)

• Current knowledge of prevalent technical language usage in the target language

• Proficient English skills, both written and spoken

• Experience with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Ability to navigate networks and websites using various browsers

• Basic understanding of PC hardware (desktop and laptop)

• Fundamental knowledge of smartphones (iPhone or Android)

• Organized and capable of working in a fast-paced environment

• Preference given to candidates with Localization/QA/translation experience or advanced computer skills
