This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kazakhstan.
• Reviewing and refining content that has already been localized to your native language.
• Identifying and correcting errors in the content, including grammar, typographical mistakes, syntax, punctuation, and more.
• Translating material from English to your native language as necessary.
• Inspecting user interfaces for functional discrepancies.
• Documenting and reporting relevant bugs and errors through the internal database system.
• Demonstrating the ability to quickly and efficiently comprehend and prioritize tasks and issues.
• Assessing translations within the context of software, mobile applications, and documentation.
• Complying with project-specific quality standards, trademarks, style guides, and client-preferred checklists and glossaries.
• Addressing basic problems and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
• Completing assigned tasks with a focus on quality and timeliness.
• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from an accredited college or university in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fluency at the native level or fully bilingual proficiency (both spoken and written) in the required language(s).
• Current knowledge of standard technical language usage in the target language.
• Proficient English skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic understanding of PC hardware (desktop and laptop).
• Basic familiarity with smartphones (iPhone or Android).
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Localization/QA/translation or advanced computer skills.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
• Must be capable of using a computer mouse for prolonged durations.
• Must be able to type for extended periods of time.
• The position may involve exposure to content that could be perceived as offensive, including but not limited to sexual, health-related, racial, or violent themes.
• Will be exposed to a computer monitor/screen for extended periods.
