Linguist – Maltese

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malta.

📋 Description

• Translate content between English and your native language while maintaining cultural nuances and clarity.

• Edit and enhance language content for precision, tone, and contextual relevance across digital platforms.

• Implement current language standards, usage trends, and best practices in all deliverables.

• Assess and provide structured feedback to enhance the quality of language models.

• Collaborate with Production and cross-functional teams to localize content for your language-speaking markets.

• Assist in content development, localization, and quality assurance for digital tools and applications.

• If transcreation is necessary, the text should be creatively modified beyond the source to ensure it flows naturally in the target language.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in the target language(s).

• A graduate degree in translation, linguistics, or language studies, OR

• A graduate degree in another field along with 2 years of full-time professional translation experience, OR

• 5 years of full-time professional translation experience.

• The ability to accurately follow terminology and reference materials.
