This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Translate Christian theological materials — such as sermons, Scripture commentaries, catechetical resources, liturgical texts, and devotional materials — between English and your native language, ensuring high accuracy and doctrinal consistency.

• Ensure that translations are in line with market-specific ecclesiastical traditions, theological terminology, and formatting conventions that are suitable for the intended faith community.

• Implement stringent quality standards to provide precise and faithful content, where theological accuracy and respect for scriptural intent are paramount.

• Adapt sermons, Christian media, and ministry video content for multilingual audiences by providing accurate subtitling and culturally relevant localization.

• Collaborate closely with production and quality assurance teams to fulfill client specifications and meet deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level fluency in the target language(s).

• A graduate degree in translation, linguistics, or language studies, OR

• A graduate degree in a different field combined with 2 years of full-time professional translation experience, OR

• 5 years of full-time professional translation experience.

• The capacity to adhere to terminology and reference materials accurately.

• Demonstrated professional experience in translation, localization, or subtitling in the theological or religious sector.
