Linguist – Irish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Convert content between English and your native language, ensuring cultural nuances and clarity are maintained.

• Review and enhance language content for precision, tone, and contextual relevance across digital platforms.

• Implement current language standards, usage trends, and best practices in all deliverables.

• Assess and provide structured feedback aimed at improving language model quality.

• Work alongside Production and cross-functional teams to adapt content for markets speaking your language.

• Assist in content creation, localization, and quality assurance for digital tools and applications.

• When transcreation is necessary, creatively modify the text to ensure it flows naturally in the target language, going beyond the original source.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency at a native level in the target language(s).

• A graduate degree in translation, linguistics, or language studies, OR

• A graduate degree in a different field accompanied by 2 years of full-time professional translation experience, OR

• 5 years of full-time professional translation experience.

• The capability to adhere closely to terminology and reference materials.
