Linguist – Hawaiian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hawaii.

📋 Description

• Translate materials between English and your native language while maintaining cultural nuances and clarity.

• Edit and enhance language content for precision, tone, and contextual relevance across various digital platforms.

• Implement current language standards, usage trends, and best practices in all deliverables.

• Assess and provide constructive feedback to enhance the quality of language models.

• Collaborate with Production and cross-functional teams to adapt content for your language-speaking audiences.

• Assist in content development, localization, and quality assurance for digital tools and applications.

• When transcreation is necessary, creatively modify the text beyond the source to ensure it flows naturally in the target language.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in the target language.

• A recognized graduate qualification in translation, linguistics, or language studies.

• Alternatively, a recognized graduate qualification in another field accompanied by two years of full-time professional translation experience.

• Or five years of full-time professional translation experience.
