Liferay Developer – Mid-level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain solutions utilizing Liferay DXP/Portal 7.x;

• Create and uphold MVC portlets (MVCPortlet), OSGi modules, and custom components;

• Develop solutions through Service Builder;

• Customize themes, layouts, and fragments;

• Set up workflows, CMS, and permission controls on the Liferay platform;

• Develop and consume REST APIs, integrating systems via REST and SOAP services;

• Create solutions using Java 8+ and the Spring Framework;

• Conduct evolutionary maintenance, incident resolution, and performance optimization;

• Integrate with corporate and legacy systems;

• Formulate queries and engage in relational database modeling;

• Utilize version control, build, and continuous integration tools;

• Participate in agile ceremonies, technical refinements, and delivery planning;

• Implement development best practices, documentation, and code reviews;

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Proven experience in developing and supporting solutions using Liferay DXP/Portal 7.x;

• Familiarity with developing MVC Portlets (MVCPortlet);

• Experience with OSGi modules and Service Builder;

• Understanding of workflows, CMS, and permission management in Liferay;

• Proficient in Java 8+;

• Knowledge of the Spring Framework;

• Experience in creating and consuming REST APIs, and integrations via REST and SOAP;

• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap;

• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle databases;

• Knowledge of SQL and data modeling;

• Familiarity with Git, Maven, and Gradle;

• Liferay, Java, or web development certifications.
