This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.
• Act as the custodian of employment agreements and terms, supporting Senior Specialists and Experts on complex projects, which include advising clients and employees on updates relating to employment law from Collective Bargaining Agreements.
• Accurately draft, customize, and manage all employee lifecycle documents for both internal and external employees of Remote, ensuring attention to detail in the issuance of Employment agreement amendments, Employment documents, Letters, and Employment Forms as required by Remote’s global HR team.
• Provide counsel on employment legislation and offer guidance on both fundamental and intricate legal interpretations as specified in employment agreements, acting as a trusted consultant for clients and employees.
• Collaborate with and coordinate various internal and external stakeholders to guarantee compliance in employee lifecycle activities, covering areas such as payroll, legal counsel, government authorities, and trade unions.
• Support Senior Specialists in managing critical initiatives that affect numerous employees across different countries and assist with HR and financial audits to ensure adherence to local employment regulations.
• Create and update global internal documentation related to Contracts Management, reflecting legislative changes and serving as a reference for all internal teams. Proactively address inquiries regarding employment matters in collaboration with Lifecycle’s internal stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements, contribute to automation, product innovation, and improve overall customer and employee experiences throughout the employee lifecycle process.
• Effectively manage and safeguard employee data and confidential information, adhering to established protocols while ensuring the highest level of professionalism and discretion in handling such information.
• Proven experience in managing employee lifecycle events with care, sensitivity, and legal compliance; providing comprehensive HR support and guidance on employment laws and regulations across various jurisdictions.
• Exceptional communication, influencing, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to lead difficult conversations towards positive outcomes, even when parties have conflicting interests, while maintaining professionalism and strict confidentiality.
• Advanced proficiency in both written and spoken English at a business level, with knowledge of additional languages considered an asset.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm and aptitude for innovating and optimizing processes, consistently identifying and implementing opportunities for automation and promoting best practices.
• Efficient in operations, with a strong awareness of the importance of thorough documentation and data integrity.
• Tech-savvy, capable of successfully collaborating asynchronously across various tools, and adaptable to new and evolving systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an international team in a fast-paced, asynchronous, remote environment, managing multiple priorities. Willingness to work flexible hours as required.
• Familiarity with communication, documentation, and project management tools such as Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G-suite.
