This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.
• Act as the custodian of employment terms and agreements, providing assistance to Senior Specialists and Experts on complex projects, including the implementation and advisory roles regarding employment law changes stemming from updates to the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Accurately draft, customize, and manage all employee lifecycle documents for both internal and external employees of Remote, including but not limited to the issuance of Employment Agreement amendments, Employment documents, Letters, and Employment Forms as required by Remote’s global HR team.
• Offer guidance on employment legislation and provide trusted advice on both basic and complex legal interpretations as outlined in employment agreements to clients and employees.
• Collaborate with and coordinate various internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with employee lifecycle activities, including payroll, legal counsel, government bodies, and trade unions.
• Support Senior Specialists in managing critical initiatives affecting numerous employees across multiple countries, and assist with HR and financial audits to ensure adherence to local employment regulations.
• Create and update global internal documentation related to Contracts Management, based on legislative changes, serving as a reference for all internal teams. Proactively handle internal and external inquiries on all employment matters in collaboration with Lifecycle’s internal stakeholders.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process enhancements, automation, product development, and overall improvement of customer and employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle process.
• Manage and safeguard employee data and confidential information, following established protocols and ensuring the highest level of professionalism and discretion in accessing and handling such information.
• Proven experience with a solid background in managing employee lifecycle events with care, sensitivity, and legal compliance, along with providing thorough HR support and guidance on employment laws and regulations across various jurisdictions.
• Exceptional communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to confidently steer challenging conversations toward positive outcomes, even when parties have conflicting interests, while maintaining professionalism and strict confidentiality.
• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English at a business level, with proficiency in additional languages being an advantage.
• A strong aptitude and enthusiasm for innovating and optimizing processes, consistently identifying and implementing automation opportunities and promoting best practices.
• Demonstrated operational efficiency, with an understanding of the critical nature of thorough documentation and data integrity.
• Tech-savvy, capable of collaborating asynchronously across various tools and adapting to new and evolving systems.
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of an international team in a fast-paced, asynchronous, remote environment with multiple priorities. Flexibility to work varying hours as needed.
• Familiarity with communication, documentation, and project management tools such as Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G-suite.
