This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Asia.

📋 Description

• Act as the custodian of employment agreements and terms, and assist Senior Specialists and Experts with intricate projects, including the implementation and advisory on employment law changes stemming from updates to the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

• Accurately draft, customize, and manage all employee lifecycle documents for both internal and external employees of Remote, ensuring attention to detail throughout the employee lifecycle, including but not limited to the issuance of Employment agreement amendments, Employment documents, Letters, and Employment Forms as necessary within Remote’s global HR team.

• Provide advice on employment legislation and offer guidance on both basic and complex legal interpretations as specified in employment agreements, serving as a trusted consultant for clients and employees.

• Collaborate with and coordinate various internal and external stakeholders to guarantee compliance in employee lifecycle activities, including but not limited to payroll, legal counsel, government bodies, and trade unions.

• Assist Senior Specialists in managing critical initiatives that affect numerous employees across multiple countries and support HR and financial audits to ensure adherence to local employment regulations.

• Develop and refresh global internal documentation related to Contracts Management, reflecting legislative changes, and referenced by all internal teams. Proactively address inquiries on all employment matters in collaboration with Lifecycle’s internal stakeholders.

• Actively seek opportunities for and contribute to process improvements, automation, product development, and overall enhancement of the customer and employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle process.

• Safeguard and manage employee data and confidential information, following established protocols, and ensuring the highest level of professionalism and discretion in handling and accessing such information.


⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrate proven experience with a solid background in managing employee lifecycle events with care, sensitivity, and legal compliance; providing comprehensive HR support and guidance on employment laws and regulations across various jurisdictions.

• Exhibit excellent communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills, with the capability to confidently lead challenging conversations to a positive resolution, often where parties have conflicting interests, while maintaining professionalism and strict confidentiality.

• Possess advanced proficiency in written and spoken English at a business level, with proficiency in additional languages considered an advantage.

• Show a strong aptitude and enthusiasm for innovating and optimizing processes, consistently identifying and implementing opportunities for automation and promoting best practices.

• Demonstrate operational efficiency, with an understanding of the importance of thorough documentation and data integrity.

• Be tech-savvy, with the ability to effectively collaborate asynchronously on various tools and adapt to new and evolving systems.

• Capable of working independently and cohesively within an international team in a fast-paced, asynchronous, remote environment with multiple priorities. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.

• Familiar with communication, documentation, and project management tools such as Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G-suite.
