This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.
• Act as the custodian of employment agreements and terms, providing support to Senior Specialists and Experts on intricate projects, which includes advising clients and employees on changes in employment law stemming from updates to the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Accurately draft, customize, and manage all employee lifecycle documentation for both internal and external employees of Remote throughout their employment journey. This includes, but is not limited to, the issuance of amendments to Employment agreements, Employment documents, Letters, and Employment Forms in the capacity of Remote’s global HR team.
• Offer guidance on employment legislation and clarify both basic and complex legal interpretations as specified in employment agreements, acting as a reliable consultant for clients and employees.
• Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance in employee lifecycle processes, which involves payroll, legal counsel, government agencies, and trade unions.
• Support Senior Specialists in managing critical projects that affect numerous employees across different countries and assist with HR and financial audits to ensure adherence to local employment laws.
• Create and update global internal documentation related to Contracts Management in response to legislative changes, serving as a reference for all internal teams. Proactively handle internal and external inquiries regarding employment matters in conjunction with Lifecycle’s internal stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and contribute to automation, product development, and the overall experience of customers and employees throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Carefully manage and preserve employee data and confidential information, following established protocols while ensuring professionalism and discretion in accessing and handling such information.
• Exhibit proven experience with a robust background in overseeing employee lifecycle events with care, sensitivity, and legal compliance, while providing comprehensive HR support and advice on employment laws and regulations across various jurisdictions.
• Demonstrate exceptional communication, influencing, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills, with the capacity to lead challenging discussions towards a positive resolution, particularly when parties have conflicting interests, all while maintaining professionalism and strict confidentiality.
• Possess advanced proficiency in written and spoken English at a business level, with knowledge of additional languages considered advantageous.
• Show enthusiasm and aptitude for innovating and streamlining processes, consistently identifying and executing opportunities for automation and promoting best practices.
• Display operational efficiency, with a keen understanding of the significance of thorough documentation and data integrity.
• Be tech-savvy, capable of collaborating asynchronously using various tools, and adapt to new and evolving systems seamlessly.
• Able to work both independently and cohesively within an international team in a fast-paced, asynchronous, remote environment with multiple priorities. Willingness to work flexible hours as required.
