This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Execute tasks safely and effectively at client locations, complying with all local and site-specific regulations.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain automation systems.
• Oversee Work Orders, assets, and inventory management at customer sites.
• Assess the performance of automated systems and ensure compliance with maintenance schedules and industry best practices.
• Identify and collaborate with potential equipment and/or material vendors.
• Utilize technical and reference documentation to facilitate accurate diagnostics and repairs.
• Create and sustain a knowledge base of issues and solutions for prompt reference and incident response.
• Employ hand and power tools as necessary.
• Generate field service reports detailing work completed, parts utilized, and suggestions.
• Travel as necessary to assist customers at their locations.
• Collaborate with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and project managers to address and resolve issues.
• Cultivate and sustain professional relationships with colleagues, management, subcontractors, and clients at all levels.
• Undertake additional responsibilities to support the company's objectives and strategic initiatives.
• Assist in the creation of training plans, materials, and other documentation.
• An Associate's degree focused on the Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls field or equivalent related experience for Entry Level positions.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in maintaining or repairing material handling automation equipment for Entry Level positions.
• Experience collaborating with vendors to formulate and implement maintenance strategies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 for Entry Level positions.
• Self-driven with the capacity to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Customer-oriented mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended durations.
• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls fields for Mid Level positions.
• Over 5 years of experience in maintaining Robotics, conveyor systems, PLCs, VLMs, and other material handling equipment for Mid Level positions.
• Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings, mechanical detail drawings, and electrical schematics for Mid Level positions.
• Familiarity with current industry safety and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, ANSI, ISO) for Mid Level positions.
• Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills for Mid Level positions.
• Strong communication and customer engagement skills for Mid Level positions.
• Experience with the MaintainX CMMS software platform for Mid Level positions.
