This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Lead and oversee the operations of an Underwriting unit
• Coordinate division workflow and manage Underwriting projects effectively
• Act as a communication liaison/resource, offering technical problem resolution
• Establish, implement, and monitor customer service standards for agency-level personnel
• Execute plans for change management and communication
• Oversee the budget for the respective unit
• Address complex and sensitive customer service complaints
• Bachelor’s degree and/or a comparable combination of education or progressively responsible work experience
• Experience in people management
• Background as a Lead Underwriter Consultant
• Development of training programs for underwriters at all levels
• Prior experience in life underwriting is preferred
• At least seven years of operational experience is preferred
• Excellent project management skills
