Life Sciences AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Assess and analyze AI-generated responses to life sciences inquiries for scientific precision, clarity, and relevance.

• Annotate and evaluate model outputs to facilitate AI training and enhancement.

• Compose expert-level responses to scientific questions to serve as training examples for the model.

• Identify errors, misconceptions, and ambiguous outputs while providing corrective feedback.

• Create and develop realistic research-based tasks, incorporating scenarios, prompts, supporting input files, and comprehensive grading rubrics.

• Execute tasks against AI models and refine them based on feedback from expert reviewers.

• Adhere to written guidelines, document requirements, and comply with upload format specifications.

• Ensure consistent quality and productivity throughout the sprint engagement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional written communication skills; capable of articulating complex concepts clearly and succinctly.

• Practical experience in life sciences, currently or recently working at a detailed, individual-contributor level rather than solely in a managerial role.

• Attentive reader of written instructions; open to feedback and iterative revisions.

• Proficient in navigating company data packages ranging from 100MB to over 30GB, and quickly forming an accurate working understanding.

• Familiar with cloud file tools such as Google Workspace.

• Comfortable managing browser profiles, installing desktop applications like Claude, and handling files including Excel/Google Sheets conversion and compression.

• Available to dedicate 30–40+ hours weekly for the entire 12-week engagement.

• General knowledge of LLM usage and the AI ecosystem.

• Professional experience utilizing LLMs such as ChatGPT or Claude within the life sciences sector.

• Capable of differentiating well-reasoned answers from plausible-sounding but inaccurate responses.

• Knowledgeable in biology, oncology, drug discovery, computational biology, experimental biology, artificial intelligence, and data entry.
