• Collaborate with Life & Legacy team members to contribute to the development of curriculum on essential training topics.
• Create and facilitate engaging adult learning experiences, such as workshops, webinars, and gatherings.
• Design new tools, toolkits, and resources to assist participating organizations and monitor their progress over time.
• Lead and manage communities of practice that encourage peer learning, collaboration, and networking among participants.
• Ensure that program resources and learning opportunities are effectively communicated and accessible through available tools and technology.
• Interact with community leaders, both virtually and in person, to implement the Life & Legacy curriculum, customizing approaches to meet the specific needs of each community.
• Oversee a portfolio of active communities, acting as a coach and mentor to help them achieve key milestones, from securing after-lifetime commitments to implementing effective marketing and stewardship plans.
• Track progress and offer training and guidance to foster success.
• Create and present compelling presentations that effectively communicate the Life & Legacy curriculum.
• Assist in the implementation of Life & Legacy grants, which includes assessing community readiness, managing grant administration, and monitoring and reporting on progress and impact.
• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with partner organizations to ensure long-term success and engagement.
• Monitor and evaluate key metrics to assess and convey program success.
• Utilize data and community feedback to refine and improve curriculum, program offerings, and resources.
• Manage updates and content for the Life & Legacy program's website.
• Drive measurable growth in legacy commitments and endowment development across participating communities.
• Contribute to the integration of Life & Legacy resources and curriculum into other HGF initiatives, including PJ Library and JCamp 180.
• Work closely with the Life & Legacy team to enhance, expand, and continuously improve program offerings.
• Assist in the planning and execution of conferences and learning convenings, including selecting speakers, shaping content, and designing effective learning experiences.
• Develop specific content for the annual Life & Legacy Leadership Conference, ensuring a valuable and engaging experience for both professionals and lay leaders.
• Manage related responsibilities to guarantee a smooth and impactful conference experience.
• Over 8 years of experience in fundraising and planned giving strategies, including legacy giving, endowments, and community organizing.
• Proficiency in adult learning, curriculum development, and facilitation.
• Background in designing and delivering training sessions, workshops, or educational programs.
• Familiarity with or experience in the Jewish communal landscape.
• Strong skills in using online learning tools, virtual platforms, data visualization software, and webinar delivery.
• Experience in using data and metrics to evaluate outcomes and guide decision-making.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams and partners.
