This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conducts research, finalizes, and submits all necessary regulatory applications and filings mandated by the Medicare and Medicaid programs, state and local licensing authorities, and accrediting organizations.
• Responsible for ensuring that all application and revalidation deadlines are adhered to and that enrollments in all programs remain continuously active.
• Engages in communication and correspondence with CMS, various Fiscal Intermediaries, Medicaid programs, state and local licensing authorities, and other regulatory and licensing bodies.
• Establishes and nurtures relationships with CMS, the various Fiscal Intermediaries, Medicaid programs, state and local licensing offices, and other regulatory and licensing entities.
• Ensures that all licensure applications and documentation are thorough and complete.
• Maintains an active database of agency contact information and filing deadlines.
• Inputs all updates into the agency portals promptly.
• Keeps abreast of current rules, regulations, and applications relevant to each state where the Company’s hospice and home health agencies operate.
• Aids in ensuring that changes in agency status (such as relocations, openings, and closings) are effectively communicated to CMS, Medicaid programs, and state and local licensing agencies.
• Assists with or completes special reports as required.
• Adheres to all Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulations and requirements.
• Complies with all relevant regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Social Services, or a related discipline.
• Experience in healthcare regulatory compliance, licensing, and enrollment processes.
• Background in project management and coordination.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical abilities, with expertise in oral and written communication, including prior experience in proposal development and technical writing.
• Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office and other software, such as scheduling tools or databases.
• Keen attention to detail, with the capability to comprehend and adhere to program and contract policies and procedures.
