This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Responsible for credentialing and re-credentialing individual providers associated with the operation of Anesthesia and ASC entities;
• Manage the enrollment and revalidation of providers with both government and commercial payors;
• Maintain regular communication through phone and written correspondence with state licensing agencies and federal regulatory bodies, including Medicare carriers, to facilitate provider enrollment in the Medicare program;
• Ensure prompt processing of credentialing information and federal projects;
• Operate within a defined timeframe, prioritizing tasks while exercising discretion to maintain confidentiality;
• Collaborate with state and government agencies, as well as legal representatives;
• Research and assist in the formulation of policies and procedures for the department;
• Engage in additional projects as assigned, necessitating collaboration with colleagues for successful outcomes;
• Consistent and reliable attendance is mandatory.
• Previous experience in drafting and completing Medicare 855B applications is preferred;
• Proficient PC skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat;
• Capable of typing accurately and efficiently while inputting data into various Licensure & Certification databases to monitor work progress;
• Competence in interpreting, understanding, and conveying legal terminology and state statutes and regulations to relevant stakeholders, both verbally and in writing;
• An Associate’s Degree from an accredited College or University is required; a Bachelor’s Degree, Credentialing Certification, or Paralegal Certification or experience is preferred;
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required; this may substitute for a degree;
• CPCS Certification is desirable;
• Strong interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and accuracy are essential for success in this position;
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in an effective and efficient manner while maintaining professionalism and courtesy;
• Strong ability to work collaboratively with others;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential;
• Must possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
