Licensing Specialist – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete provider licensing process, encompassing application preparation, submission, and follow-up across various states.

• Organize and monitor licensing timelines, taking proactive measures to prevent delays.

• Aid in the creation and upkeep of workflows and processes for licensing operations.

• Assist in the execution and management of Collaborative Practice Agreements (CPAs) in relevant states.

• Ensure adherence to state-specific CPA requirements, including supervision ratios, documentation, and renewal timelines.

• Actively follow up with providers and collaborating physicians to secure necessary CPA documentation and signatures.

• Coordinate the preparation, distribution, and completion of CPA agreements utilizing DocuSign.

• Keep accurate and current CPA and licensing records within Verifiable and internal tracking systems.

• Monitor CPA expiration dates and guarantee timely renewals and updates.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure CPA requirements are fulfilled before provider activation.

• Offer subject matter expertise regarding licensing requirements, including collaborative practice agreements (CPAs) and state-specific regulations.

• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to address licensing and onboarding needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of licensing experience, ideally within the healthcare sector.

• Practical experience with Collaborative Practice Agreements (CPAs).

• Knowledge of Nursing Compact Licensure (NLC) and multi-state practice regulations.

• Proven experience in submitting and managing license applications for Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, and Medical Doctors.

• Understanding of multi-state licensing processes and regulatory standards.

• Familiarity with credentialing and licensing systems such as Verifiable and/or Salesforce.

• Strong organizational, project management, and follow-through abilities.

• Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
