Licensing & Contract Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee enterprise software licenses and technology licensing contracts.

• Ensure optimal utilization of service licenses by coordinating with procurement management to avoid redundancy and unnecessary expenses.

• Prepare and submit the Software Licensing & Compliance Report, which includes details on license usage, renewal schedules, and adherence to procurement regulations.

• Maintain a centralized register for license utilization to ensure compliance with procurement limits, prevent duplicate purchases, and promote budget transparency across the IDIQ portfolio.

• Work collaboratively with legal, procurement, and technical teams to guarantee compliance with contracts and licensing agreements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Contract Law, Business Management, or a related discipline OR four (4) years of equivalent experience in contract administration.

• Proven knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) processes related to software and technology licensing.

• Experience in ensuring compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition regulations and intellectual property policies.

• Background in managing enterprise software licenses and monitoring renewal cycles.

• Experience in ensuring vendor adherence to federal procurement standards.

• Familiarity with DoD licensing agreements and Software as a Service (SaaS) procurement.

• Experience in supporting enterprise contract negotiation efforts.

• Proficient in license tracking and contract interpretation.

• Experience with cost optimization techniques for software and hardware acquisitions.

• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

• Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) certification is preferred.

• IT Asset Management (ITAM) Certification is preferred.
