DBMS Specialist, Database Administration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Administer, monitor, and provide support for Database Management Systems (DBMS).

• Ensure the availability, integrity, security, and performance of databases.

• Analyze and optimize SQL queries to enhance performance.

• Monitor application performance across development, staging (homologation), and production environments.

• Suggest improvements in data modeling to optimize performance.

• Conduct data loading and migration between different environments.

• Evaluate the impact of database changes and recommend technical solutions.

• Assist in the implementation of database administration solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Database Administrator (DBA).

• Proven experience in administering and supporting Database Management Systems (DBMS).

• Advanced understanding of SQL and query optimization (performance tuning).

• Experience with relational and multidimensional database modeling.

• Familiarity with ETL tools and processes.

• Experience with Relational, Analytical, and NoSQL databases.

• Knowledge of DDL, DML, and DCL.

• Experience with table partitioning techniques.

• Experience with Very Large Databases (VLDB).

• Capability to analyze impacts and implement changes in database environments.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology;

• Or a bachelor's degree in any field, as long as it is accompanied by a postgraduate certificate (specialization, master's, or doctorate) in Information Technology with a minimum workload of 360 hours.
