Senior Data Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist Development teams with tasks concerning data persistence, retrieval, and replication.

• Comprehend data models and business regulations to ensure proper information governance.

• Collaborate with Governance, Development, and DBA teams to create and uphold secure, scalable, and functional solutions.

• Engage in technical refinement and data modeling in collaboration with Development teams.

• Contribute to the creation and deployment of data solutions for Analytics environments.

• Design solutions for processing large volumes of data, applicable in both batch (offline) and real-time scenarios.

• Guarantee the implementation of security protocols for data access.

• Create and maintain technical documentation for databases.

• Oversee the data lifecycle.

• Construct, validate, and execute scripts for data updates and maintenance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a completed higher education qualification (technologist, bachelor's and/or postgraduate degree — lato sensu or stricto sensu) in Information Technology.

• Demonstrated experience in Data Governance.

• Proven experience in data modeling for both relational and non-relational databases.

• Experience in optimizing queries and tuning performance for relational and non-relational databases.

• Familiarity with Oracle databases.

• Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL.

• Understanding of Information Security and the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD).

• Experience in high-availability, high-criticality environments with substantial data volumes.

• Knowledge of agile methodologies and DevOps culture.

• Familiarity with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB.

• Awareness of code versioning tools and technical documentation tools.
