Licensed Therapist/Counselor, LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide telehealth therapy services to LGBTQIA+ clients on an individual basis.

• Offer affirming, trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment that is customized to meet community needs.

• Perform clinical assessments as required.

• Ensure timely and HIPAA-compliant documentation within the Avon EMR system.

• Utilize therapeutic techniques such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, CPT, Trauma Journal, and Written Exposure Therapy protocols as appropriate.

• Engage in regular clinical supervision while working towards full independent licensure.

• Maintain a minimum of 10 client-facing sessions each week.

• Report directly to the Clinical Director.

• Allswell takes care of billing, scheduling, and client outreach.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid North Carolina license as an LCSW, LCMHC, or LMFT.

• Proven experience and a strong commitment to working with LGBTQIA+ clients.

• Cultural competence in providing affirming, identity-centered care.

• Comfortable delivering individual / 1-1 therapy in a telehealth environment.

• Proficient in clinical assessment and maintaining timely, HIPAA-compliant documentation.

• Minimum commitment of 10 client sessions per week required.

• Flexible availability from Monday to Sunday.

• Knowledge of evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, or CPT.

• Familiarity with outcomes-based, measurement-informed care practices.

• Experience working with BIPOC and neurodivergent LGBTQIA+ clients is preferred.

• Additional licensure in DC, Virginia, or Maryland is a plus.
