Licensed Therapist / Counselor – LCSW, LPC, LMFT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Provide individual telehealth therapy to clients within the LGBTQIA+ community.

• Deliver affirming, trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment tailored to meet the needs of the community.

• Conduct clinical assessments.

• Maintain timely and HIPAA-compliant documentation using the Avon EMR.

• Utilize evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, and CPT.

• Implement the Trauma Journal and Written Exposure Therapy protocol to offer additional support between sessions.

• Engage in regular and required clinical supervision.

• Uphold a minimum of 10 client-facing sessions weekly.

• Report directly to the Clinical Director.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hold an active Virginia license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

• Possess experience and a strong passion for working with LGBTQIA+ clients.

• Demonstrate cultural competence in delivering affirming, identity-centered care.

• Be comfortable providing individual therapy in a telehealth environment.

• Exhibit skills in clinical assessment and maintain timely, HIPAA-compliant documentation.

• Commit to a minimum of 10 sessions weekly with a flexible schedule from Monday to Sunday.

• Familiarity with evidence-based modalities, including CBT, DBT, EMDR, or CPT.

• Be comfortable with outcomes-based, measurement-informed care.

• Additional licensure in DC, Maryland, or North Carolina is a plus.
