Licensed Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Deliver virtual individualized therapy sessions to youth and their caregivers utilizing evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches.

• Perform clinical evaluations and create collaborative, outcome-oriented care plans.

• Foster relational continuity during transitions, assisting clients through changes in placement or life circumstances.

• Partner with non-clinical Care Advocates to guarantee clients receive essential services and support.

• Provide support sessions for caregivers to enhance family stability and outcomes.

• Ensure comprehensive and timely clinical documentation compliant with Medicaid and telehealth regulations.

• Participate in weekly supervision, team meetings, and mandatory training sessions.

• Offer assistance during escalation or crisis situations while adhering to trauma-informed care principles.

• Engage in peer consultation and collaborate across functions with clinicians and care team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active, unrestricted independent license in North Carolina as an LCSW (preferred) or LCMHC/LPC.

• Have a minimum of 5+ years of experience post-independent licensure.

• Have direct experience within child welfare and foster care systems.

• Be comfortable working with youth aged 5 to 26 years.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and Medicaid clinical documentation standards is essential.

• Ability to establish trust and consistency with youth experiencing instability or mistrust.

• Capable of completing background checks mandated by Medicaid and child welfare systems.

• Preferably have approval for providing Medicaid-covered services or previous Medicaid billing experience.

• Bilingual in Spanish and English is strongly preferred; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
