This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota.
• Deliver evidence-driven family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders and concurrent diagnoses in a telehealth environment.
• Apply family-based treatment (FBT), enhanced cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT-E), cognitive behavioral therapy for ARFID, and other evidence-supported therapies for patients of all ages suffering from eating disorders and their families.
• Manage a caseload of 30-40 clients; the expectation is to provide 20-26 hours of direct care, with the remaining time allocated to administrative duties.
• Engage in initial and ongoing training sessions.
• Evaluate and diagnose mental health disorders.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, dietitians, patient mentors, and family mentors, as well as external providers.
• Utilize messaging between sessions to assist patients and correspond with the treatment team through Equip’s EMR, following Equip’s policies and procedures.
• Actively participate in Treatment Team meetings, supervision, and departmental discussions.
• Maintain licensure in your home state and acquire licensure in additional states as requested by Equip (licensure expenses will be covered by Equip).
• Current, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy in North Dakota.
• Capability to manage a diverse caseload of patients across all ages, with co-occurring conditions, varied backgrounds, and different levels of acuity.
• Commitment to evidence-based care and treatment methodologies.
• Availability to provide care two evenings per week (meaning being accessible until 8 PM in the primary time zone of your patient caseload).
• A motivated, collaborative team player.
• Competence in delivering care safely and effectively in a virtual format.
• Enthusiasm for mental health and eating disorder treatment, as well as improving access to care.
• Nice to Haves (preferred but not mandatory): Experience in Family-Based Treatment and/or eating disorder therapy, familiarity with evidence-based treatments and/or intensive care environments, experience assisting patients with suicidal thoughts and trauma, case management experience and/or working closely with a multidisciplinary care team.
