This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy for families, individuals, and groups dealing with eating disorders and related diagnoses in a virtual clinic (i.e., telehealth) environment.
• Apply family-based treatment (FBT), enhanced cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT-E), cognitive behavioral therapy for ARFID, and other proven therapies for patients of all ages experiencing eating disorders and their families.
• Manage a caseload of 30-40, with an expectation of 20-26 hours devoted to direct patient care and the remaining time allocated for administrative duties.
• Engage in initial and ongoing training sessions.
• Evaluate and diagnose mental health conditions.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team that includes physicians, dietitians, patient mentors, family mentors, and external providers.
• Utilize messaging between sessions to support patients and communicate with the treatment team through Equip’s EMR, adhering to Equip’s policies and procedures.
• Actively participate in Treatment Team meetings, supervision, and departmental meetings.
• Maintain licensure in your home state and obtain licensure in other states as required by Equip (licensure expenses will be covered by Equip).
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Possess an active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy in Massachusetts.
• Capable of managing a diverse caseload of patients of all ages, with co-occurring conditions, varied backgrounds and cultures, and different levels of acuity.
• Strong commitment to evidence-based care and treatment methodologies.
• Availability to provide care two evenings per week (meaning availability until 8 PM in your patient caseload's primary time zone).
• Enthusiastic and effective team collaborator.
• Skilled in safely and effectively delivering care in a virtual environment.
• Deep passion for mental health and eating disorder treatment, along with a commitment to increasing access to care.
