Licensed Psychologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Conduct therapy sessions for clients using online platforms.

• Oversee a caseload of therapy clients.

• Keep precise records of client interactions.

• Partner with BetterHelp to enhance therapy methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Psychologist / PsyD.

• Experienced Mental Health Therapist or Counselor with a strong desire to assist adults, couples, or teens.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mental health counseling.

• Master’s or Doctorate in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy.

• Fully independent license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, etc.) allowing for unsupervised therapy provision.

• A private and professional setting for conducting therapy sessions.

• Exceptional written communication skills.

• Must hold professional liability insurance.

• Stable Internet connection required.

• Must be residing in the US.

• NOTE: Unfortunately, interns or those requiring supervision to provide therapy services are not eligible to be providers on BetterHelp at this time. Additionally, we cannot accept substance abuse counselors, school counselors, registered nurses, career counselors, Christian counselors, or business coaches (unless they hold an additional license as a mental health counselor).
