⛳️ Requirements

• LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Psychologist / PsyD.

• Experienced Mental Health Therapist or Counselor who is passionate about assisting adults.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mental health counseling.

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy.

• Possess a fully independent license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, etc.) and able to provide therapy without supervision.

• U.S. residency, a private workspace, reliable internet, and liability insurance are required.

• A private and professional setting to conduct sessions is essential.

• Strong written communication skills are necessary.

• Must hold professional liability insurance.

• A dependable internet connection is required.

• Currently residing in the United States.

• NOTE: Unfortunately, individuals who are interns or require supervision to provide therapy services are not eligible to be providers on BetterHelp at this time. Additionally, we cannot accept substance abuse counselors, school counselors, registered nurses, career counselors, Christian counselors, and business coaches (unless they hold an additional license as a mental health counselor).
