This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Interact with members through phone, email, and various channels to provide assistance with quotes, new policies, billing inquiries, underwriting questions, and policy modifications.
• Establish rapport and trust by asking insightful questions, comprehending member needs, and offering precise solutions to reduce transfers and escalations.
• Execute insurance transactions such as endorsements, cancellations, and coverage adjustments while ensuring adherence to industry standards and internal policies.
• Work collaboratively with insurance carriers and internal teams to resolve issues and deliver timely, accurate information.
• Maintain necessary certifications and actively seek opportunities to enhance product knowledge.
• Achieve performance metrics related to service quality, responsiveness, and member satisfaction.
• High School diploma or GED is mandatory; some college education is preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience is required.
• Must possess an Active Property & Casualty or Personal Lines license.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, maintaining a professional and empathetic tone.
• Capability to multitask across various applications while keeping focus and accuracy.
• Typing speed of 20 WPM with 90% accuracy.
• Strong understanding of insurance compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient research and internet skills; quick adaptability across different subjects and systems.
• Basic technical troubleshooting abilities and comfort with digital tools.
• High-speed Internet connection via wired ethernet; no Wi-Fi, Satellite, Cellular Hotspot, or Cellular Internet.
• Upload speed of 5 Mbps and download speed of 50 Mbps.
• Internet service provider must demonstrate high stability, with 1% or less packet loss and latency under 100ms.
• Accessible cell phone or tablet and capability to install required 2FA software for multifactor authentication.
• Ensure a quiet environment during the interview and keep the door closed; phones are prohibited.
