Licensed Personal Lines Policy Processor II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the information from the application against the criteria for policy reinstatement and grant approval when the criteria are satisfied;

• Draft business correspondence for supervisors, managers, and other professionals;

• Communicate with the insured or agent to gather information or update them on account status or changes;

• Review letters from policyholders or agents, original insurance applications, and other company documents to assess if modifications are necessary and understand the implications of those changes;

• Adjust, update, and process existing policies to reflect any modifications in coverage amounts or types of insurance;

• Inform the insurance agent and accounting department regarding policy cancellations;

• Handle policy cancellation requests in accordance with company guidelines;

• Organize and manage detailed office records, maintaining files and/or logs for various projects;

• Process and document new insurance policies and claims;

• Prepare, process, and submit business or government forms;

• Review and validate data, such as age, name, and address on insurance applications and policies;

• Transcribe data onto worksheets and input data into the computer for document preparation and account adjustments;

• Maintain communication with the Supervisor regarding the status of ongoing tasks and/or projects;

• Anticipate project requirements, identify work priorities, and adhere to deadlines;

• Provide support when requested to assist in phone queues during periods of high call volume;

• Potentially conduct audits of trainees, policy processing tasks, documents, brokers, etc.;

• Take on additional assignments to assist department management;

• Adhere to state and federal laws, Department of Insurance criteria, insurance carrier standards, and Aspire General Insurance Services policies, procedures, and work rules;

• Ensure prompt and regular attendance;

• Perform other duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Active P&C Licenses for CA, AZ, TX & VA

• Minimum of 1+ year of underwriting experience in the property and casualty insurance industry is required

• Strong administrative skills in back-end processing

• Capability to manage increased levels of responsibility

• Comprehensive knowledge of insurance terminology, concepts, and coverage, along with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret industry periodicals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; capable of using the Internet and adapting to new software programs and technological changes

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities

• Competence in solving practical problems; handling concrete variables in various situations; and interpreting a range of instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to transition to a paperless environment

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
