Licensed Mental Health Therapist, 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality, innovative tele-therapy services to Headspace patients via a HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform.

• Complete, sign, and secure clinical case notes in the EMR within 48 hours following each session as part of the per-session reimbursement agreement.

• Maintain a personalized database to track proof of licensure, license renewals, expiration dates, personal information, and more.

• Keep your availability calendar current.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, including health coaches, other therapists, psychiatrists, and external care providers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in providing clinical psychotherapy to individuals, couples, or families.

• An independent clinical license to practice in good standing (not requiring clinical supervision) at the Master's or Doctoral level.

• BC-TMH credential, if mandated by your state's licensing requirements.

• Capability to offer at least 10 therapy sessions per week for scheduling, with flexibility to adjust as necessary.

• Availability during nights and weekends is a plus.

• Clinical proficiency in evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness, etc.) and measurement-based care.

• Experience in risk management and handling higher acuity cases.

• Knowledge, capability, and dedication to delivering culturally responsive care.

• Familiarity with and confidence in utilizing care delivery technology, including various applications, tech tools, Google web apps, video conferencing, EMR, etc.

• A safe and secure location with a reliable internet connection to conduct Zoom-based psychotherapy sessions.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
