Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LMHC-D

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver full-time outpatient therapy services through Brave Health’s telehealth platform.

• Provide empathetic and high-quality mental health care from the comfort of your home.

• Offer care to patients of all age groups.

• Collaborate with clients to meet their treatment objectives.

• Perform thorough assessments.

• Create tailored treatment plans.

• Diagnose mental health and/or substance abuse disorders.

• Utilize telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools throughout your workday.

• Complete around 30 client care hours per week, averaging six clients daily.

• Potentially secure additional state licenses as Brave Health grows into new regions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a Master's level degree and relevant licensure.

• LMHC and LMFT candidates are required to have Diagnostic Privileges (LMHC-D / LMFT-D).

• Unrestricted eligibility to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.

• Your work-from-home environment must ensure privacy for patient safety and comply with HIPAA standards.

• Proficiency in English is essential.

• Familiarity with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.

• Experience in treatment planning is required.

• Comfortable using telehealth software, video communications, and internal communication platforms.

• Proven experience collaborating with clients to achieve their goals.

• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments.

• Willingness to pursue additional state licenses as needed.

• Experience working with patients suffering from chronic severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder.

• Must be able and willing to complete 30 client care hours weekly.
