Licensed Insurance Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Maintain and nurture the customer relationship following the sale.

• Manage policy modifications, billing inquiries, cancellations, and renewals.

• Oversee the service queue comprehensively, including endorsements, address and vehicle modifications, driver additions, lienholder and mortgagee updates, ID cards, and proof of insurance.

• Proactively tackle non-payment alerts, cancellations, and rate hikes by exploring options across various carriers and rewriting coverage as necessary.

• Analyze renewals, pinpoint premium hikes, and transform standard customer interactions into opportunities for cross-selling.

• Address carrier-related challenges involving portals, underwriting, and billing departments.

• Collaborate with AI agents by offering insights and applying human judgment when necessary.

• Contribute to the enhancement of Truvo's customer service experience and the integration of human-AI workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current P&C license or the capability to acquire one within 30 days.

• Background in personal-lines service, retention, or account management roles.

• Experience in managing endorsements, billing, and cancellations.

• Ability to navigate service queues to completion and liaise with carriers until all issues are resolved.

• Customer-centric mindset aimed at delivering suitable coverage.

• Willingness to adapt to new tools and AI-assisted processes; coding knowledge is not essential.

• Enthusiasm for joining an early-stage company that is revolutionizing the insurance sector.

• Experience across multiple lines in auto and home/renters is advantageous.

• Familiarity with carrier portals and comparative rating tools is beneficial.

• Prior experience in insurtech is a plus.
